My family was grappling with the burden of credit card debt. These guys are truly a beacon for those of us with too much debt. From the start where I found Ben on the YouTube channel Ascend I have been treated as a real person by real people. Even getting a personal call helping me figure things out. I went through one of the lawyers recommended by Ascend and as of January 2nd I am debt discharged, and already have a great credit card from Mission Lane for $2000. Things are getting back into place and my life feels so much less stressful due to the weight of debt being off my shoulders.

I was looking at doing a debt relief program with a cetain company, so I went onto You Tube to get more info, about the program, from various financial advisors. I was fortunate enough to come across a video by Ascend, and then looked at their website.
I was new to this whole debt reduction process, and learned so much just from their site. I felt confident enough to call them, and I got Emma. She was great! She really took the time to listen to my situation, along with what I wanted, and didn't want. I cannot describe how amazing this company is. Ireny and Hinten answered every question I had. They were kind and extremely considerate when listening and to my situation. Credit counseling is a terrible choice. My husband and I did "Debt Consolidation" with the thought that paying off our debt was the "right" thing to do. Not only did we pay off our complete debt, but we starved and lived like paupers for the complete 5 years. Then, to my amazement, I found out that our credit scores were just as low as though we filed bankruptcy! The companies that come up with all of the magical credit scores look at these credit counseling/debt consolidation outfits as the EXACT SAME thing as bankruptcy. Exactly. So not only to you pay an enormous payment monthly, but after you pay back all of your outstanding debts, your credit is still ruined. These places must get a kick back from all of the companies that get to cash in on all of the outrageous fees on top of outrageous late charges on top of the outrageous over the limit fees. Once you get caught in that trap, there's no end to it.

Hinten at Ascend was incredibly helpful. He offered me a sloution for a problem I was having, was kind and gracious and went above and beyond what he "had" to do to help me, and definitely gave me some peace of mind
