Were you scrolling through social media and got an ad (similar to the one below) talking about handling your credit card debt? Do they claim you can get out of debt without a loan in 24-48 months? What kind of program is this? Who is Advocate Debt Relief?
Or perhaps you saw an ad of this cowboy telling you to "hold your horses".
It appears that Advocate is advertising a debt settlement program. Debt settlement can be an excellent and helpful option if you know its pros and cons. You will have to close your accounts and fall behind on the payments. Once you fall behind, the debt settlement company will go in and negotiate with your creditors and try to bring your debt amount down to about 50% of what you owe. Your creditors do not have a legal obligation to agree to the settlement terms, which means they can potentially take legal action against you.
Advocate Debt Relief Reviews
I do my best to pull reviews from the most unbiased sources when reviewing companies. I want to read both the positive and the negative reviews to understand my potential experience if I signed up.
BBB
I found Advocate Debt Relief has an F on BBB reviews, but it has a 4.0 on BBB and no complaints in the last 2 years. The company has a 4.0 out of 5 stars but an F rating. It is interesting they have been around for 7 years, but do not have many reviews.
The two reviews that were left were both 5 star positive reviews. They both discussed having great customer service experiences and feeling cared for. They both seemed like they hadn't gone through a full program with Advocate yet, so I would be curious to hear from them after they complete the entire program.

Other Reviews
Unfortunately, I could not find Advocate on any other review platform. I was hoping to see more reviews to be able to understand other's experiences.

In conclusion, I was unable to find a ton of information on Advocate Debt Relief.
