US Loan Services Keeps Calling Me

A friend of mine has been getting so many calls lately from random numbers, multiple times a day - and the voicemails all sound the same, saying she’s “pre-approved” for a $65,000 loan, but the offer “expires at the end of the month.” And the calls are all from a company called US Loan Services.

The thing is, she never applied for a loan in the first place, so imagine her surprise to get calls like this.

Who are US Loan Services?

After doing some digging, I couldn’t find any website associated with US Loan Services... However, there is a different company called US Loan Servicing, and while they're named very similarly - they're a totally separate company.

If you head to US Loan Servicing's site, they actually warn people to report any calls from US Loan Services to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).

So what about US Loan Services reviews? Has anyone worked with them and gotten a loan?

I checked Better Business Bureau, Google, and TrustPilot - but there weren't any reviews anywhere, so it's hard to say if anyone has found success with them.

While they didn't mention US Loan Services specifically, I did come across a Reddit post from a user who also mentioned getting nonstop calls about a random loan offer they never applied for.

But the resounding comments all claim that these calls are just spam and to ignore them.

So How Do You Get the Calls to Stop?

According to the Federal Communications Commission, you can register your number on the Do Not Call List. There are a few blocking resources you could look into as well. But as a general rule of thumb, it is best to just ignore them if you can and not answer calls from numbers you don't know. If you're being harassed with nonstop calls, or even suspect fraud, you can also report the calls to the FTC at reportfraud.ftc.gov.
