I saw an ad for Aura Atrium on a recent social media scroll. Immediately, I realized the video was AI. She said you can avoid bankruptcy and high interest loans by just answering a few questions online to see if you qualify for relief.
Another interesting thing I found is that when I pressed “learn more” it took me to a “USA News” article that appears to have a logo very similar to the CBS logo. Firstly, when I looked at the URL, I saw it was not associated with USA Today. Next, when I clicked on the links to “Latest” or “Local News” at the top of the desktop page, I was just rerouted to the home page. Odd.
When reading the article, I realized that the product they are advertising is called debt consolidation, also known as debt relief. This option is not necessarily a bad option, but it is important that it is advertised and explained correctly.
I can explain how debt consolidation/debt relief works, but it would be more helpful if you watched my recent video below.
If you are struggling with debt and don’t know your options, please consider taking this free personal loan and alternatives options calculator to estimate loan qualification and learn about alternatives. No personal information is required unless you want to provide it.
Unfortunately, many people I speak with do NOT qualify for debt consolidation loans, so nonprofit credit counseling is a debt consolidation option that I have loved recently. In non-profit credit counseling, an agency negotiates your interest rates down and gets you on a fixed monthly payment. You also consolidate all your high-interest credit cards, often into a lower monthly payment.
You may have to qualify, but I created this free calculator to compare credit counseling and debt consolidation and estimate your eligibility.
Here's a video I created recently covering credit counseling.
From their website, I was surprised to see some information they provided that I am not sure what point they are trying to make. First, debt consolidation often has a high impact on your credit sore, so I am not sure what they are referring to when the website states, “How to lower your debt without damaging your credit score”.
Finally, let’s review Aura Atrium reviews.
Unfortunately, when I went to look for Aura Atrium reviews, I couldn’t find any.
