Whitestone Legal Group reviews

When I review companies, I like to look at both Google and BBB reviews, and sometimes Yelp reviews. Let’s look at each of the review and your options for Whitestone Legal Group.

BBB

On BBB, Whitestone Legal Group currently has a B rating, and is accredited. That said, it has a 1.0 rating based on 26 reviews, and 80 complaints in the past 3 years.

A 1.0 rating means that 26 people all rated Whitestone Legal Group a 1.0.

When digging into specific reviews, one individual mentioned that they continued to get charged past the 4 year mark, and all his accounts were not charged.

One reviewer mentioned that they enrolled $42,419 in debt paid $43,544.71, which is more debt than they actually enrolled in the program. She mentioned that Whitestone claimed that some creditors were more aggressive than others, but a debt relief company may already know which creditors are aggressive and which are not aggressive BEFORE they enroll an individual into the program.

TrustPilot

On TrustPilot, Whitestone Legal Group maintains a 2.8 rating based on 172 reviews. What stood out to me for the first review was that the individual alleges that she had settled an account, and that the company failed to make the 2 final payments, meaning that the account had to be re-settled.

When reviewing debt relief companies, I like to understand how long the website has been around.

What I found interesting is that Whitestone Legal Group’s website may be around 2-3 years old at the time of this writing.

For example, I found that in the first pulled Whitestone Legal Group home page screenshot from Wayback machine, that it was from November 1, 2020.
